Johannesburg, South Africa | September 2026 — South African entrepreneurs, television personalities and sisters Samantha and Theressa Malinga are stepping into a new chapter with the launch of You Nuevo Know, their first podcast.

Known to audiences from MTV Base’s Have Faith, the sisters have built their careers side by side, evolving from dancers to university graduates, entrepreneurs and public figures. They are now bringing that shared history, their individual experiences and their natural sister dynamic to a new platform designed for open, relatable and meaningful conversations.

You Nuevo Know takes its name from Nuevo, the beauty and wellness business founded by the sisters, and extends the brand’s ethos of self-care, confidence and connection into a space for storytelling, learning and cultural conversation.

The intention behind the podcast is simple: to create a space where conversations can go beyond the polished version of celebrity, entrepreneurship and success. Samantha and Theresa want to talk about the realities behind the public image,  the ambition, uncertainty, lessons, relationships, personal growth and everyday experiences that shape life away from the spotlight.

The podcast is particularly aimed at young people and audiences navigating their own identities, ambitions and careers in a rapidly changing world. Through engaging discussions with creatives, industry professionals and other business owners, You Nuevo Know will explore the realities of working within the creative digital economy, the beauty industry and reality television, while also making room for personal experiences, perspectives and contemporary cultural conversations.

At the heart of the show is the unique dynamic between two sisters.
