StokvelEx Limpopo will offer great cutting edge information and linkages with the corporate sector and the Government
The 2017 Limpopo Stokvel Expo dubbed STOKVELEX, presented by Seven Colors Communications will deliver once again opportunities to the stokvel community with carefully selected exhibitors from various sectors ready to engage the stokvel market. The StokvelEx Limpopo will be held in Polokwane from 21-22 October 2017 at the Jack Botes Hall.
Stokvels, Burial societies, investment clubs and members of the public with an ardent interest in this market will get to engage and forge strategic partnerships with service providers varying from financial institutions, burial, investment companies, government entities, wholesalers, FMCG, education including tourism related products. For those stokvels looking at linking with small businesses owners, the exhibition will showcase various SMME’s from Guest lodges, arts and craft to event planners.
“This year we are placing a major emphasis on this hidden economy. We recognize the role and the bargaining power that Stokvels have in our communities and through the expo we intend to connect Stokvels and offer great cutting edge information and services that can advance them to the next level and make them even more economically viable in this ever changing global environment,” said Eugene Mametse, Founder StokvelEX.
At no cost to stokvels, the exhibition will feature a workshop area which is a place for stokvels to engage and network with other Stokvels and service providers. Alongside the workshop area, South Africa leading manufacturer and marketer of processed pork products under the ESKORT brand will be turning up the heat as food area headliners offering demonstration and food tastings.
“StokvelEx is an ideal platform that showcases collaboration of various business along with small enterprises,” said Neo Mohlatlole Co-Founder. This is the only exhibition of its nature that caters to the stokvel market in its entirety.”
The exhibition floor will be divided into two areas segmented for Stokvels to explore and network. Some of our exhibitors on the floor include Two Mountains Funerals, Doves, Road Accident Fund, Crown National and Liberty Life to name a few. The two day expo will start at 10am on Friday 21st and ends at 4pm each on Saturday,22nd October.

The two day exhibition is described as “the annual meeting point for stokvel organisations, burial, societies, investment clubs, financial institutions, cooperatives, banking institutions and funeral undertakers to drive growth, investment and development within the South African stokvel landscape. The expo will provide innovative solutions tailored to the size of all participating stokvel groups, societies, investment clubs, cooperatives and associations through an open exhibition of various products and brands.
Bridging the gap between businesses and communities they serve, there will be ample networking opportunities for various Stokvels to engage and forge strong partnerships with other clubs and corporate companies, with one common goal: to increase and promote economic viability in under-served markets through imparting cutting edge knowledge.
