Delta The Leo Releases Club Banger “Ratchet”
Once again, she teams up with the Deceptikonz on production as well as collaborating with Vava Deceptikon on Ratchet which is a club banger that focuses on the often unspoken desires when two people are attracted to one another. It looks at the often brief moments that leave lasting impressions and memories. “The idea behind Ratchet was saying how you feel without being censored,” said Delta of the track’s concept. The term Ratchet is used in an unrelated manner to its colloquial use to describe sensual and intimate moments between two people.
Some of Delta’s career highlights include winning the Hello Ambassador Award for Creativity for her ‘Zaga’ music video. “Having professionals in the creative sphere decide that out of hundreds of submissions ‘Zaga’ stood out was a humbling experience for me and has reminded me that the work I put into my craft is not in vain,” says Delta. Other highlights include working with some notable names in Hip Hop; from producers such as the Deceptikonz who worked on her previous single ‘What’s In It For Me’ to Kenyan producer Kevin Provoke and female rapper Wangechi as well as South Africa’s HHP.
Delta The Leo has proved time and again that she is a force with staying power through her sheer talent and determination to leave a mark on the industry. She has pushed boundaries and continues to reinvent herself musically. She is well on her way to becoming one of the greatest talents of our generation.
