Amber Fieldgate releases striking cover of AVICII’s ‘Addicted To You’
Although a full-time student at TUKS, Amber Fieldgate’s passion for the arts is not taking a back seat. Still actively pursuing a career in music, the Sandton-based aspiring singer songwriter is working side by side with Jolanda Becker Vocal Lab and recently went into studio at The Hit Lab to record a striking cover of AVICII’s ‘Addicted To You’.

“Addicted To You is one of my all time favourite songs,” Amber says. I really enjoyed covering it as an acoustic version as I feel it gives the song a completely different tone. I also love singing it because it complements my voice nicely.
“Working at The Hit Lab was an absolute pleasure and definitely my new favourite place to be. I am looking forward to putting out some more music through the course of the year.”

Only 20 years old, Amber is petite, shy and timid, but not to be underestimated. Her vocal aptitude is clearly evident – and she already has an array of accolades to her name, in both singing and drama.
In 2015, Amber worked with hit songwriter and producer Nate Butler and recorded her first original title ‘One More Time’.
Come 2018, Amber will join Howie Combrink in studio, working on some new music.
